Some people have been having problems spacing lots of thumbnail photos on a page or post.
Several people have asked about search engine optimisation on wordpress.com. There seems to be a lot of information about SEO and WordPress available on the web, but most of it applies to the .org version and not the hosted .com version. This post is about how to approach SEO with WordPress.com and the difference with other websites.
If you are writing a long post, its a good idea to think about splitting the post into two sections. On your home page or posts page you will see the first few lines of your post followed by a “read the rest of your entry” link
This can be a good idea if you are going to have video or images in a post and you don’t want your posts page to look too cluttered.
To do this click the “insert more” tag. This is on the top row of the formatting tools 12 from the left or 4 from the right.
Of course you must remember to make the first few lines of your post interested so people want to read more.
